@ronott1, my attitude is more kind than you think. Once, I was driving down I-84 heading towards Boise. The roads were very bad due to snow and everybody was going very slow. A Jeep in front of me spun out and almost hit the side of the freeway shoulder. She was stuck, facing the oncoming traffic. I pulled over, went to her car, and asked if she was all right. She was fine, a little panicky, but OK and not hurt. She was grateful I pulled over to see if she was okay. I then gave her some advice, and told her that in these kinds of conditions, you usually have to go below the posted speed limit and brake more early.

Later on, state troopers showed up and helped her get out safely.

She was grateful, and I went on my way.

These little acts of kindness can go a long way.

That is very kind of you. A lot of drivers do not know how to drive in the Snow. I have some experience from the mountains here but not nearly enough

I broke out in goosebumps seeing your pictures DMC! Now I need you to show me a picture of a hot cup of cocoa and a warm fireplace
Fresh out of hot cocoa and my fireplace is off right now:lol:Winter is truly getting long. They let school out early today due to the winds picking up and blowing this pretty white stuff around.

No power sucks.

On snowy roads, my DH is the one in the left lane passing everyone. I am the one in the right lane going 5 mph slower than most...
He drove us in to work today.
We had homemade pizza last night - thin, crispy crust this time.

tonight we are having leftovers: deep dish Chicago style pizza, pork chops, crispy crust pizza, or Pasta Fagioli. And we have 1/2 loaf of homemade Italian bread to go with it.

We are having an atmospheric river storm currently. The Bay area rivers will be getting up to flood stage this week
