Normally I have no issues judging doneness but this didn’t rise normal either. Can not enough flour affect it? It seemed stickier then normal.

Yes, also sugar content can change both rise and baking

@ronott1, we don't know. We couldnt find it.

I actually prefer the Ukulele, to be honest. I just had my guitar with me at the time.

I'll make the carrot cake tomorrow.

Here at UC Davis, a person stole the piano from the Memorial Union. It was spotted being pushed down the street in the City of Davis! Luckily it was recovered but did need to be tuned

That's a large instrument for someone to try to steal...glad it was recovered!

Use a probe thermometer and cook to 195-205

Slow rising could be temperature related - water added to the dough was cooler than usual or the temp in the room was cool. Great looking bread!
