You know what? You're the second person to say that. I have a friend in North Idaho, I used to hunt turkey on her property a lot when I lived up there. Very nice sweet lady. She regards me as her grandson.

As you can tell from the pictures, she had a big hunting property, and an even bigger heart to let me hunt there and regard me as her grandson.







I look way different now. You've seen the video.

There's a funny story about me and that turkey I took. We had exchange students from Japan over, and their assignment was to stay with an American family for three days and have a real American Experience. Fortunately, turkey season was open at the time, so I told them that I would try to get them a true American dinner. The property owner let me hunt there so I could try to get a true American dinner for the students.

The next morning, I got that nice turkey.

You should have seen the looks on their faces when they saw me with the turkey. Priceless.

By the way, just so you understand the picture, I don't take turkey over a baited site. It's illegal.

As for the deer, that's a funny story also. She told me I could hunt deer on your property as long as I don't shoot any does and I don't shoot the yearling that comes often.

I did not know what she meant by yearling at the time. A nice buck showed up, and I couldn't tell how many points were on its antlers. I took it. She then walked out when she heard the shot, saw the deer, and told me that was the yearling she told me not to shoot.

Oops.

She understood it was an honest mistake, and all was forgiven.

The third picture came from a visit in April where we went on a trip back to North Idaho for personal stuff. She let us stay on her property. I took that picture when I was there. The spots still good!

Anyway, I am way off topic. I appreciate that comment.

Yes, it is a good life. Many Adventures. However, I do struggle sometimes. Today is a good example of that. Sometimes with my mental problems, I have rough days. Today is one of those days. I'll be fine. I just got to push my way through it.

I'm going to be making a surprise for my family. I'll make it a surprise for you guys also.
