I don't like Campbell's soups, except for the consomme which I use when making Italian beef. Making cream of mushroom soup is pretty quick and easy. I've used many different recipes for it, but this year I made this one and it's perfect:

I am getting a turkey tomorrow. A small store has turkeys for $.69 per pound as long as you spend $25. It’s not Butterball, it’s the other big name. I called the store I wanted to shop at, and “customer service” said she doesn’t know. I’ve worked customer service, and I know she should know. I also know I had to ask the customer to hold while I walked back to check if necessary. She scoffed and laughed when I mentioned her checking. I said I’d shop elsewhere.
Peeps, I am half an hour away. I’m not going to waste time and money buying groceries at a store if it sells $2/pound turkeys. If nothing else, I will go to N F C’s place Thursday. :thumbsup
 
Here you go:
(Note: I usually make a 1/2 a batch and just make it more often.)
Tom and Jerry Batter

Ingredients:
6 eggs
1 1/2 lb powdered sugar
3 tbsp dry milk powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Separate eggs. Beat egg yolks and whites separately, then together. This keeps the batter fluffier.
Then add a little at a time the rest of the ingredients until mixed.
Store in the freezer.

To use, put about 1 or 2 tablespoons in a coffee cup. Add hot water to nearly full. Add a jigger of rum or brandy. WE USE 1/2 Shot of EACH. Actually, I had an almost empty bottle of rum so I measured it out and add an equal amount of brandy and that is what we use.
Stir to combine all ingredients. Sprinkle with ground nutmeg.
