Love how you frosted it, less can be better sometimes

The cake has a mocha icing--uses instant espresso powder and the chocolate drizzle. It is very good!

Debby, When you made the Dublin Coddle what size dutch oven did you use? How much extra room did you have after putting it together? I'd like to push it up to about 8 servings, but only have a 6 qt dutch oven, that's easy to find.

I use a 6 qt dutch oven Bob. That was plenty of room for the 6 servings and should be large enough for 8. Here's a photo of my dutch oven before baking so you can see there is additional room (plus things kind of cook down):

Use it to fry potatoes or make a "beer" batter and fry fish.
