You won't starve. Nice haul there!
Naaaa! Nothing like bread. It's a batter. Brilliant with any roasts or veggies but not cheese as far as I know.According to my DH (he's from the UK), Yorkshire puddings are just bread.Though I think they might taste good with some meat, veggies, or cheese.
Just mixed Sourdough White/Whole Wheat Bread...I of course made the
recipe Mine with "tweeks": Added Whole Wheat Flour, Added 1T whey
protein powder, Added 1 T Flax Meal....Recipe: 1/2 cup Sourdough Starter
3/4 cup warm water
1/4 cup dry milk powder
1 1/2 tsp sea salt
1 teaspoon yeast
2 T honey
2 T EVOO (oil)
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups BREAD FLOUR
1 Egg
All ingredients in a large bowl. Mix with a danish whisk....cover and let
rest 20 minutes. Place the dough in a Mixer and on low speed knead
for 5 minutes...rest and knead in mixer 5 additional minutes. Place in
a greased bowl..cover place in a warm place 1 hour - 1 1/2 hour ..until
double. Shape the dough. Place in a 9 x 5 or 8 x 4 tin cover in a warm
place 1 - 1 1/2 hour...or up to the top of the tin. Oven 375 35-40 minutes.
Will have photo after it is baked. Aria
