Any Home Bakers Here?

That is the first one I made.


I can get any number of them for free! We have 2 glass pans and at least 4 metal ones. They are about 4"x8". I'd have to figure out how much dough to put in each pan so I don't make rectangular muffins.

ETA Oops, just noticed you said French loaf!
The perforated pans make a nice crusty bottom. It also helps to spritz When adding the bread to the oven and again after about 10 minutes later

BTW, glass conducts heat differently than metal. You need to adjust time and temp for glass.

Thanks, I've been lurking for a while and decided to join in. Big fan of King Arthur Flour recipes and currently working on "perfecting" their whole wheat sourdough rye bread.
 
I know! It's a bit overwhelming, though fun to read through. Such a wide variety of recipes.
The link at the top of the page is updated in real time.

Which reminds me... @N F C have you learned how @sumi did her magic? I'm thinking maybe this or next weekend, it's about time to update the front page again.
