Any Home Bakers Here?

I have underground wasps here. They are the biggest wasps I have ever seen. The white ones with blue eyes are pretty (IMHO). They are sand wasps. They are solitary. I often see them on the wildflowers. I have never had one offer to sting me.
When they sting me (and they frequently do)....where they bit....SWELLS
and is red and fever follows. HORRIBLE. Aria

That is an allergic reaction. Immediately take Benadryl or similar to alleviate the symptoms. You may want to keep an EpiPen on hand for emergencies.

Why are we killing bees?
These were what Dad called wild bees. They are really a type of native wasp and are not pollinators

Itw was back in the 1960s too. It was a segway from a time when very bad poisons were available to Farmers from the Farm Bureau in our county-- about 50 years ago.

Perhaps we should call this a more realistic view of what the Old times were like.

There was also a time when Farmers could get dynamite to remove tree stumps.

Benadril I have...Epi Pen...not sure what that is? Thanks Aria
"EpiPen is an injection containing epinephrine, a chemical that narrows blood vessels and opens airways in the lungs. These effects can reverse severe low blood pressure, wheezing, severe skin itching, hives, and other symptoms of an allergic reaction."

An EpiPen requires a Dr.'s prescription.

made deviled eggs for the first time. I like them.

Nice looking deviled eggs Jared!

Well the bread is in the proofer. It took a little over 3 TBS bread flour to get to six minutes in the Kitchen aid. I've always used #4 for kneading, what do you use?

Dough came out dense and sticky but stretch and fold took very little flour and no tearing. We'll check back in an hour...

Hope you like the way your bread comes out Bob! I don't use the mixer for kneading, I do it by hand, so no help from me with that. Let us know about your bread!
