Their crust reminds me of the banquet pies and I do not like them.We went there for the pie too. In fact, most of the time that is the only thing we went there for. I love their fresh strawberry and peach pies, although those came much later. They used to have the best rolled crusts. But, now I think they are pressed and just not as good. Something changed. I don't make pie, so I can't be sure what it is.

I would be hard to live with if we didn’t have a softener.My sourdough starter is doing much better now that I use the RO filtered tap water also.
I don't like to drink our well water, so I guess I don't blame it for turning pretty colors on me when I use the well water, lol. DH is fighting me on getting a new water softener since ours bit the dust last summer.
