I don’t care if he buys tools. He’s not one to waste money. He uses what he buys. I use what I buy. It’s just one of those things we pick on each other over.

My Mom would get very mad at is for using her sewing scissors...Apparently it is not good to cut wire with sewing Scissors! Who Knew!

It isn't good to cut paper (or hair) with sewing scissors.

Still trying to teach DH that lesson. My sewing scissors have "SEWING" written on the handle, every pair. He still uses them for paper and cardboard.
I have 3 pair of scissors that have had the "SEWING" scribbled out and they are in the junk drawer - he can't seem to find those to use.

Don't use tin snips to cut wire either!
