It is a challenge and do not give up. Use a little yeast in the beginning.I left my sourdough too long so it sank, sad flat crispy bread ugh it doesn't taste very nice either. So I've made a loaf using dry yeast to have with soup at lunch time. I'll try again another time with the sourdough before deciding if I should keep wasting flour...
1/4 tsp or 1/2 tsp and maybe 1 teaspoon???? That is what I did when
I started. And there are a lot of recipes that do suggest using yeast.
RON, may have some suggestions to help. He guided me and it worked. The Bread is better to digest and tastes GREAT. Aria
