No baking today. 1 it's far too hot. 2 I've not been able to get into the kitchen for the husband fitting a water filter. So it's frozen garlic bread with dinner today. Maybe I will bake something soon.

Anyone ever bake a pound cake batter in muffin tins?

I want to make a Maple Pound Cake, but baking it in the bundt pan just makes too much cake for the 2 of us to eat. If I split the batter between a loaf pan and a muffin pan full, it would make small pound cakes to put in the freezer for me to take for lunches later in the month.

I have made pound cake in bread loaf pans. They can be sliced into nice pieces for strawberry short cake

It is hard to sleep when it is hot at night.
