Any Home Bakers Here?

maybe if you eat a 5 gallon bucket get sick to your stomach?
When I was a kid, I could eat a lot more than anyone realized. If we had company show up after a meal, my mother would feed them and of course I got a second meal right along with the guests.

I've strained the jam so there's only a few seeds on the top that I should be able to remove once it's set. I worry a lot about stuff so it's just for my piece of mind.
I was always fussy with food growing up, I still have issues at times with food now. My husband is having a hard time getting me to eat properly at the moment, but that's mostly down to side effects from my medication.

Made some Elderberry Jam, DD helped me pick them from the tree in the garden. DS 1 & 2 helped pick the berries from the stems. It's not set yet, leaving it to cool. But it tastes nice. Will have some on toast in the morning I think.
:drool
First time making jam. Hope it sets ok.

Elderberries....Yum....they look good and they are so good for you. Aria

I never heard elderberries were not good for us????
It sounds similar to kidney beans-- not cooked causes stomach upset. Cooking remove the toxins.

The seeds lose their toxin too so all should be well with the jam
