Ron this is the Recipe that asks for two cups. And I tried it with l cup
of Sourdough Starter....and it worked. Need my sourdough starter for the additional two loaves of Multigrain I need to bake tomorrow. Will get MORE Sourdough Starter going....Aria

Did the bread have less sour taste to it?

I found the problem with my bait site. I was using the wrong bait. I just finished speaking to a hunter friend in North Idaho, and he said he uses donuts with bacon grease for bait.

Fortunately, I’m a baker, so I can make some donuts and put them in the bait barrel! I’m gonna need a LOT.

Probably better to check local bakerys for past expiration date donuts. We used waste oil from cafe's, sugar water from the local soft drink manufacturer, etc. One fellow brought his bear in by burning honey.

Not a taste that I would not like. I so enjoy my Sourdough Starter and their does not seem to be a great difference. It is delicious....to me. Aria

No offense, but where’s the fun in that? I would like to try baking donuts anyway. I’ve been wanting to try for a while.

Donuts are easy there are million recipes my oldest is a cake doughnuts
1 egg
1/2 c sugar
1 tbsp melted butter
1/2 c milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder

Directions
Heat oil to 365 Vegetable
Roll dough to 1/2 inch cutting with doughnut cutter
Fry till light brown drain on paper towels
