I love soups with pumpkin and squash! Any chance you could share your recipes? There's not much that warms up a cold winter night like soup!

I just look for one online. But it's basically the flesh I take out of the kids pumpkins, add a butternut squash to bulk it out, sometimes carrots too. Add double cream, spices.. the veg gets boiled up to soften, mash or blend the cooked veg then add it all to the slow cooker. No2 son likes it with lumpy bits so I tend to just mash it up.

Here's the recipe I use, but I add a tsp of chipolte pepper before roasting and about a half tsp of cinnamon with the nutmeg and I serve it with whip cream on top.

I know it’s a little early to be thinking about this, but hear me out. With COVID-19, there may not be much we can do for Halloween. I’m trying to figure out what I can bake on Halloween that I can just serve my family. Any ideas?

I don't have any ideas but it isn't too early, the stupid grocery stores already have Halloween candy out! I'm sure it is to fool people in a hurry who don't realize Halloween is still 7 weeks away so they buy the candy early then can't help but eat it all and have to buy more later.
