That'll do!
How old is your tank?

Its been running two years nearly. Covid has made me rely on mail order (online) fish. Its a very slow process as I cant just go out and pick up some fish. With that Quarantine time on top. Atm the water nutrients are too low as I cant get no3 over 0 with the fish I have. And so the algae problem.

I’ve been thinking about starting up a tank again. Maybe just fresh water though. Algae isn’t near the hassle for me as the bad water around here. I’ve never needed so many chemicals! :thUnfortunately, I gave all of the stuff away to another member.

Freshwater is a lot easier and cheaper. I've got a little pico planted freshwater with cherry shrimps. I've just bought myself a nano tank to upgrade it with.

Tank is in progress, currently fighting an algae problem (normal for a marine/reef tank to go through the uglys), it needs more fish and loads more coral yet!
I had a 75-gallon reef tank running with a 40 gallon refugium a few years ago,but since I moved out here to the rural area we intermittently have power outages... not much; but I'm too paranoid about losing power to my tank to set it up and have complications come up. Love the coraline algae when it's established.

I know some over here use backup generators if they are prone to power cuts. Its a lot of time, care and money on the line when the power goes out or something fails.
