Any Home Bakers Here?

Me too! I actually have 7 right now. I ate too much bread last month, so I don’t have much flour. I’m afraid when I get more, I’ll be eating too much bread again.
The beagle attacks me at the door when I come from the coop.
My dogs love bread too. Especially my Schnoodle, Greta Garbo. As soon as the bread comes out of the oven she starts bugging me to hurry up and slice into it. Have to be careful not to overindulge them.

I'm back to baking! The best thing about cold weather! That and no bugs:D. Been working on a whole wheat, no knead, sourdough. But, my freezer is getting overrun with bread. I need to bake smaller loaves. Does anyone have excess bread, and if you do, what do you do with it? There is only one of me and I just can't eat but so much bread.

You can grate it and make bread crumbs .

I tried out a couple of new recipes to pass on. Not baking but delicious!

Guinness Pulled Pork

1 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
4 pound boneless pork loin
1 large sweet onion, roughly chopped
1 (11.2) bottle Guinness beer

1. In a small bowl, whisk together paprika, salt, red pepper, garlic powder and black pepper until combined. Rub mixture over the surface of the pork until covered.

2. Put chopped onion in the bottom of a slow cooker. Place the pork on top of the onion. Pour beer on top.

3. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours until the pork falls apart.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze.

BBQ Sauce
(makes 1 cup)

1 Cup ketchup
4 Tablespoons brown sugar
4 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons cider vinegar
3-4 dashes of Sriracha sauce
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3-4 dashes of liquid smoke

1. Put all ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to a simmer. Cool slightly.
Thanks for the Recipe!

You can make stuffing, bread puddings and etc. Added: Bob posted the same thing already!

Made these Sunday and last night. Put together the dough and filling Sunday and completed last night.. Did something with the filling as I ended up with enough to fill 48 dumplings not 24.

In any case they turned out very good. A LOT of work but still wonderful.
Nice!
