So looking forward to getting back to BAKING. Cannot yet. I noticed
my feet (the side of the surgery is a bit swollen) Took it easy kept legs elevated Sunday...Called Dr. this morning waiting for call. Aria

I haven't done any baking on my own in ages, the cookie sheets and other baking pans hurt my wrist that I broke and that's even using both hands. Surgery was a month ago and I still have swelling in my hand.

Healing will take time, remember q not stand for long periods of time and take it slow. Time is our friend and not to be rushed 🤗🤗.

My son left most of the ingredients next to my KA mixer and when I
am ready ...all except sourdough and yeast needs to come out of the refrigerator. Need to make it possible to bake...adjustments will work.....I need to become stronger....NOT up to making breads and my usual baking. All things in time. Patience. Doing what I can
and looking forward to better days ahead. Aria

Time will make all the difference. Remember you have been down for a couple of months. It is amazing how fast you lose your strength and how slow it is to regain.

If standing is a problem you may want to have a bar stool in the kitchen. The height of the stool should make you at counter level when sitting. Just a thought.

You will get your strength back it will just take some time. Take a list of tasks and work on one till you have it perfected and then add another one. Of course you are trying to do several tasks.

It takes a lot of patience. You will get there.

Sue, I HEAR you . I just made a large pot of soup. I did have a stool
and was able to sit some of the time. On my super butcher block...I
chopped all my veggies. I had lentils, barley, rice that I added. It is
cooking as we speak. When almost done...I will add Ancini de peppe., this is a small pasta always ...my Mom added to her soups.

My son's wife Kim left me loads of cooked foods in the freezer. But home made Soup is my favorite starter food. I have many other foods to use. They left me well stocked. Thanks for your words. Aria
