We ended up with a lot bigger fridge than we really wanted, but because it was available without back order we bought it. We had to remove an interior door and it barely fit through the opening. It sticks out about 6" farther into the room than the last one did. Oh, and the power cord is on top of the fridge, so we needed to remove the bottom shelf from the overhead cabinet to make it fit, lol.

wyoDreamer, This COVID has caused many problems. People do not want to work or repair,
manufacturers cannot find workers to produce. So many back orders, waiting, and all BAD. Before all you needed was the money....now it is much different. Changes for the worst....not better. I wanted Kitchen Aid....but did not get it.
you ended up with a larger refrigerator. NOT FAIR. Aria

When I remodeled my kitchen, I researched refrigerator sizes and made sure the opening will accommodate a much bigger (taller and wider) refrigerator than I have. When I do replace this refrigerator, I will buy one that will fit the available space without any issues.

I also changed the entry door from a 2' 8" to a 3' 0" and removed the door (permanently) between the kitchen and the mud room to make it easier to bring in the next refrigerator.

That is being smart. Aria
