I think it’s baking related.
I hate miracle whip, but was given a jar by my b-i-l. My question is whether or not it will be palatable in a recipe. In particular, making ranch dressing.

No experience with miracle whip. Never had it. ????

it is ok in macaroni salad--it's just mayo with vinegar and some sugar

Jared-we call this an "icebox cake" at my house--use graham crackers instead of baked crust

It would be fine in a mayonnaise cake.

It ruins a sandwich or potato salad. (my opinion, some prefer it)

I normally make corn bread in my cast iron skillet. But now there is just The Man and me to eat it, and much of it goes to waste. Today I decided to make it in the muffin tin to make it easier to put in the freezer whatever does not get eaten tonight. We'll see how it goes. I thought it came out of the oven looking pretty good.
