Any Home Bakers Here?

Did lots of errands today, no baking. Currently trying to revive a tired out worker bee.

ETA: It flew away! I was being very careful, as I am allergic to bee stings, but it drank honey water and apparently is back to normal.
You can put straight honey on a spoon and carry them outside, they recuperate very quickly and fly away. The reason for the elaborate dance bees do is to communicate to one another direction and distance to the flowers. The worker bees then fuel themselves to get there and back to the hive with a load of nectar and pollen. If they get stuck in your house, they can starve to death very quickly. So a drop or two of honey can really save a little life. They have no interest in stinging you except in self defense, because they die when they sting. So if you don't crush them or slap at them, they won't bother you. Thank you for helping this little one on its journey, it was very brave of you. ❤

The recipe makes 13
That is pretty odd. Who has a 13 hole cupcake pan??

They are grass eaters
The ones here really seem to like broadleaf weeds. And digging tunnels.
The first is a benefit, the second too dangerous to let them stay around.

I always have good intentions and something happens and no baking. Hopefully this weekend I'll make something.
Don't feel bad, I have been trying to get around to baking a rhubarb pie for a month now. I still haven't gotten it made.

I could just make 12, but I like that there's enough batter to get a baker's dozen without the cupcakes being considerably smaller (even if I have to use my 24-hole pan or put in a pan with one cupcake). Then, the baker gets to try one!:celebrate
