Any Home Bakers Here?

When I make this type of crust for cheese cakes, I do not pre bake or refrigerate.

Pre baking might cook the crust too much.
Of course, if you are not baking the curd, then yes bake the crust.

I can't see your picture, what did you make?
I made bread hun but I can't find the pick now. 2x loaves and 4 baps. Seeded with sesame, poppy and pumpkin, 3 types of flour organic strong white, organic wholemeal and spelt . I also use quick yeast , black himalayan black salt (also know as egg salt) & honey. Wish I'd got photos as it came out fantastic

Sorry to hear, Jared. That's awful. Is that the garden at your new place?

Yep. We have a MAJOR drought here in Dietrich. Our sprinklers had to be shut off. Tried to water the garden by a hose sprinkler, but the drought eventually got to it.

Here’s my weather. It has been like this since we moved here.

Thats hot, we complain if the temps get to high 20s to low 30s. 37.C I would'nt cope! Sending rain your way 🌧️.

We have had heavy rain and lightning storms the last week.

I'm wanting to make my mum some chocolate covered coconut ice for her birthday, so had a trial run today. Its had well over 2hrs to set but its still a bit sticky. Maybe it will set better over night. Or it needs less.. something..
I used this recipe this time, its the non cook version.
