There's that. Plus I'm hopeless when it comes to money. I can ballpark prices, just give or take a zero.Prices can change so much!

Doesn't qualify as baking as of yet, but I made some mozarella cheese with just vinegar, and although it didn't quite turn out as mozarella (it's super creamy, although last night it did stretch nicely; but it does melt beautifully), was thinking of using it later for pizza, made flour tortillas this morning and made quesadillas yum!!!Bakers good morning one and all!
Anyone baking today?
Have a great day!

Will make some bread later on in the day (I use one single recipe for sandwich bread, challah bread and some sweet breads with apple filling - have to finish off our apple harvest before they go bad; will probably make apple pie too). I'll try to post pics later on
.
Cool, when you make mozarella do you use whole raw cows milk? I'm thinking maybe my milk was too creamy and maybe that's why the cheese turned out (after it cooled down) like cream cheese almost hehe, still very tasty and good but definitely not like a traditional mozarella. Been trying to find recipes for cheese making that don't require rennet or lypase; just plain old natural type cheeses (plus it's hard to find vegetarian rennet where we live or any other cheese making liquids and the like) .What are you talking about? That qualifies as baking!
I’m a cheese maker myself. I’ve actually made mozzarella and some other types of cheese. It’s a fun hobby.
