Any Home Bakers Here?

I am a little nervous, actually, because of the fact my uncle died in the house we are staying at. It’s a little unsettling!
You'll be OK. Isn't it better that he died at home rather than a nursing home after months or years? Think of the bright side :)

Doesn’t he like cauliflower crust?
I tried a chicken pot pie with cauliflower crust once. I would buy that again over the "usual" crust, the cauliflower crust was flakier. Not sure how it would fare as a pizza crust.

I make cranberry sauce from fresh berries that is how it geas here
Same here. Grew up on "cranberry logs" from a can, learned about fresh made from DW's mother.

Gluten free pumpkin pie. :D Rice Krispy treats with food coloring.

We drive two or so hours to Rockbridge Fishing Resort in SW Missouri for Thanksgiving. It's now our family tradition, started several years ago when T'Day occurred shortly after I'd been hospitalized twice in a month and was in no shape to "do" turkey dinner. They have smoked trout, turkey and fixings of all kinds enough to blow both your mind and calorie budget for the year. Afterward you can walk down to the fish nursery and admire the trout, well over a foot long, or walk along the beautiful river where some folks fly fish, having paid for the privilege. Then we come home and I put a smoked turkey in the oven so we will have leftover turkey sandwiches for the weekend. Sometimes I make other "fixin's" to accompany it, like mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing from a box, green bean casserole, and a Walmart pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Maybe a vegetable platter (gotta have olives!). But it's all very casual.
