Any Home Bakers Here?

I made the cranberry sauce this morning and am thawing out the pumpkin mash for the pie.

I plan on getting the rolls made today and prepping the candied yams and green beans.

I hope to not need to get up super early to bake before putting the turkey into the oven. I do have a large convection toaster oven so can cook 9x13 pans in it. The other two pies and the stuffing will be cooked in it tomorrow.

It is a lot of work but it will be so nice to see the family this year!

I am going to try my hand at a yeast bread for the first time since 1970s.

I need to know what the temperature of warm water should be to bloom the yeast?

When scalding milk do you have to have a certain temperature?

Any help would be appreciated as I'm the blind and need to be led.

I just take water out of the hot tap. It will be 110° to 115° going into the bowl.

I'm planning to make small rolls with Champlain dough tomorrow. Starter is eating now.

Got a nice little 10# farm raised turkey, shouldn't take too long to roast that.

Best satsuma year I’ve had yet!!! Last year they were pretty styrofoamy but this year they’re perfect. This is from 2 trees! About 120 or so.
