It was 1°F this morning. The sun is shining and it is all the way up to14°F now.

Suppose to be 37F today. The snow is slowly melting away. Thinking on make some garlic bread to along with my stew for dinner.
I just ground some more oat and rice flours. Long grain brown rice grinds better than short grain, for sure! Now if only Costco had big bags of organic long grain brown rice, I'd be all set. I can get 10 lbs of organic short grain, but no organic long grain. Yeah, I know, I can order online. I'm avoiding that until the spring when my driveway is navigable for the UPS/FedEx truck.
Having Chicken (my favorite meat) sweet potato bake with brown sugar pecans and broccoli for

We had our cold snap a few weeks back. It reached into the negative teens in the valley and negative 20s in the mountains.
