Yeah, but were they good?I tried. It was more like pink biscuits with frosting
Ah, such a shame, more cheeseIn order to do that, I need to make another hard cheese that needs to be waxed and aged.
That would be me... I always used salted butter... because it makes it better, lol. But adding a pinch of salt wouldn't hurt the frosting none. I'm pretty sure I shared a few pictures of my decorated cakes..?Okay I have always been bad at frosting too much this or that .. Think one of the gals here said soft butter, powdered sugar, vanilla salt and sugar .. just bit of milk.
I winged it but sure came out good .. but use a real butter in it.

I make a similar cheesecake as what you posted. It is a recipe from my mom. Did you use quark for your cheese??? That is what I make mine from,,, and I make my own quark.View attachment 2997723

I had to look Quark up too. Now I'm intrigued! That cheese making catalog can't get here soon enough! I might have to get stuff and try making quark AND mozzarella.I make a similar cheesecake as what you posted. It is a recipe from my mom. Did you use quark for your cheese???
