I don’t remember the details, but somebody here asked me if I can make cheese out of whey.

I finally got around to trying it out today, and I confirmed that you can. This is whey ricotta. The only ingredients are whey and cider vinegar.

Jared,,, post the method you used to make Queso Fresco. I make mine with natural souring. Then I curdle it on the stovetop,, and strain,,,, and press out. I usually don't add salt,,, just because trying to keep sodium intake to reason. The whey that I end up with,,, would not make any cheese at all. There are no milk solids left in my whey. The color is a clear liquid with a tint of yellow/green.
I never made Ricotta cheese, so maybe that whey is milky in color, after ricotta cheese is strained out.
 
Did get the second side painted. Did get road rash on hands feel on the two steps coming in but caught myself...
Penny. Yesterday was not good for me either. I cut my self
trying to open a bottle of oil. IT BLEED for 1/2 hour. EEK.

You were lucky to catch yourself. WOW. I am leaving the bandage on today. Not disturbing it. Will change tomorrow.
