Jared,,, post the method you used to make Queso Fresco. I make mine with natural souring. Then I curdle it on the stovetop,, and strain,,,, and press out. I usually don't add salt,,, just because trying to keep sodium intake to reason. The whey that I end up with,,, would not make any cheese at all. There are no milk solids left in my whey. The color is a clear liquid with a tint of yellow/green.View attachment 3324519

I finally got around to trying it out today, and I confirmed that you can. This is whey ricotta. The only ingredients are whey and cider vinegar.
