Good for you! I've also dried some eggs in dehydrator they turned out great. I just finished up canning some random roasts and some boneless ones I bought at store, I had my grandaughter help me cut them up so she can learn this skill. This meat is so tender and good, no freezer space used up. We had a bakery day this week while she was on break, she made cookies , girlfriend made dough from scratch for her ethnic pastries from an old recipe, and I made cake for a church event. It was fun but kitchen was a mess! This is going to be a fun thread.I just made my first, "from scratch - no machines" loaf of bread, last week. I've recently learned pressure canning (have done water-bath canning, many times). I love making my own bone broth. Today I made another fresh batch of yogurt. I'm learning fermentation and bought a freeze dryer, this year. I have many jars of powdered, freeze-dried eggs. Those will be handy during "no-lay" periods.
