I didn’t know about the subscription part, so thanks for pointing that out. I’ll have to look into that.
Bug-of-the-Month meal? :gig Recipes included.

Actually, after reading more about crickets, I might be able to try them someday. One thing I'd find very objectionable would be the legs getting stuck in my teeth. The body... maybe I could eat one that way.

But not today. :lau

I think you take the legs off, not sure. According to the Bible, crickets, locusts and such really are "clean" to eat, but scorpions and spiders, not so much. In some countries locusts get pretty good sized and I have heard they make quite a treat when deep fried on a stick. That may be important to know some day ...

Funny you should say that. I was studying that in my scriptures earlier this week. Apparently, the apostle John ate locusts and wild honey in Matthew 3:4

Yup! Some have said he ate carob, the seed pod of the wild locust tree, which is certainly a possibility. I don't know. He wore animal skins and lived in the desert. Was he really harvesting seed pods, shelling, drying, pounding into flour, etc.? Does not make sense to me. He was a man on a mission. Makes more sense to me that he ate what he could get hold of, quick and easy. Which was ... locusts. Certain times of the year there was a crazy abundance of them! And, er, not much else.

Was this supposed to go on a different thread?
Yes, thank you, but I don't know how to get rid of it. Since this is your post, would you go to the edit button, select Delete, and give as a reason, Posted in Error? Thank you. I really have no idea how I did that. Takes talent, lol!
