I am very sad, my oldest hen died today, I don’t have them with me right now cos I’m getting surgery on the 31th, but still it made me very sad, she was born Feb. 2012 and is the mother of my leading hen born Aug. 2013, who is still alive and laying eggs, farewell , Gin , she even still laid eggs this year!! A smallmouth bass and a largemouth bass on the same day at the same spot? Interesting.

Anyway, today I am doing a trial run on a recipe for Halloween. If I am successful, I will post a picture and the recipe.

I plan on baking, but there’s so much housework to do, I don’t know if I can bake more than a batch of biscuits.
