Any Home Bakers Here?

One of the reasons for small fish is due to overpopulation. Throwing them back compounds the problem. Many places fishing regulations have size limits which limit the number of fish that are large but encourage taking the small ones.

@R2elk I just now saw this. That’s very useful to know. Thank you.

These are the regulations for my area, in case you or anyone else is interested. This is not including the special rules for specific waters, which is on a separate page.

I also use sd discard to make waffles , they taste great and you only need 2 instead of 6 eggs ( in winter, I sometimes only get 1-2 eggs a week) since I have a big family, that would be a recipe for I think about 20 waffles, I can never count them cos they get eaten up as fast as I can produce them 🤪
Would you share your discard waffle recipe? Our egg production has been low during our sustained heatwave (over 110 for 3 + consecutive weeks). It cooled down from Hurricane Hilary. We're overcast and in the 80s. Our chickens are happy for the reprieve!!

I also bake cupcakes and cakes for a living if that counts 😋 😁
Those are so cute!! I used to decorate cakes. Birthdays, graduation, even a number of tiered wedding cakes. Don't really do that anymore other than for personal use. But I can certainly appreciate the art and skill (and time) of what you create! :thumbsup It's a labor of love!

I used SD discard to make biscuits today. They are REALLY sour, lol! It's a taste that took some growing on me, but I've eaten two so far. Also starting a fresh batch of SD bread. Will bake tomorrow. Using @ronott1's 1Tbsp starter method.
