Good day, everyone.

I am doing a long term science experiment regarding the weather.

This is a storm glass. It forms crystals and patterns inside based on upcoming weather, so they say. I am doing a science experiment to see if it can really predict the weather. I am doing it out of curiosity.

From here on out, I am following @Ladies-Eight example and posting the weather here daily so I can log it for the experiment.

Dec 13, 2023 11:05 AM mountain time
Weather: partly cloudy
Temperature: 30F
Wind: 3 mph
Humidity: 76%
Glass reading: Crystals at bottom and flakes in upper part with small dots, indicating frost, wind, and humid/foggy conditions.

Neat!

I have not made an apple dumpling in a long time!
Whenever I make a pie, I use the extra dough to make an apple dumpling if I have an apple. If I don't have an apple, I roll out the extra dough, spread butter on it, sprinkle with Sucralose and cinnamon, roll up and form it into a coil and bake it with the pie.

Either way I have something to eat while I wait for the pie to cool.
