Peel, put in a Ziploc bag. Suck out the air, seal, freeze.

Write the date on the bag. 🤦‍♀️ I found some of indeterminate origin in the bottom of the freezer.

Thanks for the information.

I will use my sealer when freezing them.

I never peel mine I toss them right in a freezer bag lol
I usually toss the frozen banana in my grownies mix while they're still frozen. Since I let the mix sit on the counter for a couple hours, they thaw in there.

Then I don't have to plan ahead...

How do freeze bananas?
I've always peeled and mashed three at a time and put in plastic containers, as my favorite recipe calls for that many. Dating the container is a good idea, as is adding a squidge of lemon juice to prevent browning. But after reading some of the other comments I think I'll switch to Ziploc bags too, and freeze them flat to save space.

Somebody posted a recipe for dinner rolls not too long ago that called for 6 c flour, 2 c warm water and 2 pkgs yeast, which is a pretty good sized recipe. It makes 4 dozen dinner rolls. I made that recipe today and it's delicious. I left one dozen rolls out for eating and put the remaining three in the freezer. I don't remember whose recipe that is, but I wanted to thank them. I made it in my KitchenAid mixer with modifications. Instead of sugar I used 1/4 c honey, and for the flour I used 2 c AP, 2 c bread flour and 2 c whole wheat. It was a little sticky so I kept adding BF until it wasn't sticky any more. We like whole wheat around here.
