Any Home Bakers Here?

On another note, I have no idea what to bake for Valentine’s Day.
Hey Jared, I know this time of year makes you feel sad and lonely. Ads and pop culture just rub your nose in it.

How about this year, baking something for all the special loved ones in your life? Make it a celebration of the love of your family.
:hugs :hugs :hugs

WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT!?!?

That’s an excellent idea!

You are SUPER....always there when I need help. AND I am not that old....remember my birthday is in December so I will be one year younger than
what I shared with you. I DO NOT LIKE TO TELL MY AGE TO ANYONE....HA HA

My thoughts on age is it's just another number.

I'm looking forward to my birthday in April as I will be 79.

I am embarrassed to make this confession, but I’m going to make it anyway. Y’all think what you think of me as it is, so I don’t think this is really going to change your mind about me. 😂😂
Until today, I have never made a good batch of buttercream frosting. I am pretty sure I used margarine a time or two, and 100% sure I didn’t do it right. I did not cream the butter alone for several minutes first. I did not sift my powdered sugar. I did not mix the batches of sugar in for a minute or so between. I did not keep it on low.
Now I have the right frosting, and a new problem. I want to eat it without cake.

The frosting is the best part of the cake.

I really don't care for cake, but I love the frosting.
