I make navajo fry bread sometimes but technically its not baked it fried.
2 c flour
1 c warm water
2 TBSP baking Powder
1 tsp salt

mix it, squish it, flatten it, make 4 or 6 or even 8 flat circles (depends on how big u want them)

Fry in some oil , both sides, med temp

I put stuff on them like cheese
or refied beans and cheese and lettuce and rotel

Had to take the recipe Grandma made our crackers too.

My hip hurts due to my knee arthritis. When I get a cortisone shot in the knee, my hip gets better too.

It is amazing how the body works in unison with it's parts!
Lol, I always like to say the hip bone's connected to the neck bone. It really is!

In New Mexico it's very popular to use fry bread as a base for tacos. They're called Navajo tacos, of course, and they are delicious! Oh, well, now I guess I know what we're having for dinner tomorrow!

Tried the cold oven method , bread is in the oven right now
Somehow it didn’t work out, the bread didn’t rise 😦

Had a couple of French Baguettes from the bakery leftover,,,, so decided to make what I call Pizza Spins. (my silly term :frow )
This is not really a recipe, but an IDEA to try with leftover bread.
Laid out the slices on a cookie sheet. I used spaghetti sauce as first topping.

Cut up some peperoni slices, and placed on top of sauce. Dusted with some oregano.

Topped with cheese. I used mozzarella.

Notes;
We do this often and vary the toppings, as to what is available at that time. (mushrooms, sausage, tomatoes, olives, ham, sliced hotdogs, ETC. ) Have also made same using pita bread, as well as flour tortillas.
Short baking time, since everything is already cooked.
