Everyone and Ron especially you....when I received the email
opened it and it said from AOL "we think this is a scam" then
I checked NO it is safe....it connected.

I called AOL and they listended to my problem and said there
will be a charge to work with this. I said: I am not going to
pay for your wrong message. Good by. This is not good.
Sorry. Thought I would like someone KNOW what is going on

I highly recommend that you get a different ISP than AOL. I quit them many years ago. I have never regretted it.

A local wireless ISP. Check around and see what your local options are. What you have available there will be different than what is available here

I had to go with the wireless option here because it was the only option other than over the phone line that was available here at my rural residence.
