Long weekend! 80 sourdough buns and 70 cupcakes later, Party was a success! Now I'm rotting on my deck reading for the day doing absolutely NOTHING! 🤣

My chickens are doing well and getting big. This one Barred Plymouth Rock in particular is getting very big.

She’s gonna be a delicious roast someday……
Let them sit about 3 days from the demise to roasting them.
 
If you don’t mind me asking, why do you let them sit for three days before roasting? I’m just curious.
To let the meat pass through rigor mortis and relax. If you cook it while it is in rigor mortis it will be tough meat.
