I cold pack my tomatoes too, when I can them.

I use a steam canner for mine.

Evaporated milk is just milk boiled down. You can make it yourself.

Not to long ago I asked if anyone knew a good pasta carbonara recipe, that was a copy cat from Cheese cake factory. Well, I thought this would take a long time to find the right one. I could already see myself on the 5th recipe, not finding one that taste quite like it... Well, I guess there are things that happen and turn out really well on the first time. Here is the Pasta carbonara recipe that was AMAZING!! Lets just say there were lots of oopsies... I did not have evaporated milk, so I had to improvise with Heavy cream and Milk. It worked although so that's a good thing! Here is the recipe, along with another dinner pasta casseroles!

Try using a biscuit recipe. Lots of people use biscuits for strawberry shortcake.
