This winter here in Idaho is not as bad as I thought.

As a child I remember eating cake, around Christmas time, that had glacé (or candied) cherries in it with a sweet white frosting on the top. I have looked through all my recipe books and I cannot find a recipe for it. Does anyone here know the name of this type of cake? Or even better, have a recipe for it which you are willing to please share with me?

I can’t say I’ve heard of that recipe, but I can definitely help you look for it.

I think I made a new filling recipe for onigiri on accident. It’s quite delicious. I remember the ingredients, but not the quantities and measurements. I’ll have to try making it again and this time write down what I do.

Once I have it, I will post the recipe.
