I never heard of putting baking soda on a fire. That’s interesting. At least it put the fire out!

Anyway, what sort of things are you interested in baking? We might be able to help you if you have certain things you want to try to make.

I'd love to make sourdough, I never got past making a starter though. It got this dark brown liquid and smelled bad so I threw it out
