These black bean muffins are rich, delicious and DENSE. I could only eat one last night, and one today.

The exchange students made this. It appears to be a honey cake. I have no idea where they got the recipe, though, so because of that, I can’t post the recipe. I’ll have to ask them tomorrow.

I’m actually a little surprised that you missed this when I first posted that I was hosting them. Oh well, I guess it happens sometimes.

One is from Kazakhstan, the other is from Mongolia. The one from Mongolia went through surgery for a teratoma recently, but she’s back to normal now.

I actually got a recipe from the one from Kazakhstan. As soon as I give it a quick kitchen test, I will post it if it’s successful.

The name of the recipe is Baursak.

Anyway, I’m starting a new job tomorrow so I need to hit the sack. I may not post as often as I have been as a result of my new job. Don’t worry, though, I’ll still post as often as I can.

If they are so delicious, I couldn’t stop at one…I bought some pasta made out of beans for my family, expensive, but they claimed they were so filling you would need less pasta…Nope, wasn’t true
