I get headachs once in a while. Sorry. When I do...I drink
more water. That helps me.
Yes, I also get headaches. Keeping hydrated and taking magnesium daily has been a huge help to me.

I also have the most wonderful head ice pack called TheraIce. It has been a lifesaver! It's hard to ice your whole head with regular ice packs, and this one can even go over your eyes if you are light sensitive or have a headache in that area. It even provides a little compression, but is still comfortable enough to fall asleep in once the headache subsides/lessens.

Over the weekend attended a Graduation party. This is what I baked.
New recipe, Milk bread rolls. Super soft, and delicious.:drool:drool:drool
Ready for 35 minute bake.
The dusting on bottom is not corn meal, but Farina. The yellow color is from butter spray.

Out of oven. The thermometer poked in indicates fully baked.
Whole egg wash creates a nice copestone tan. :old

2 different yellow cakes. This one has confetti sprinkles added.
Both cakes are fresh plum filled.
Both are baking powder raised.

The Streusel topping contains crushed graham crackers, that create a slightly brownish tone.

My presentation assortment. The serving tray is not flat on bottom, so my cake pieces look like drunk sailors all over the place.:gig:lau

What’s the recipe on those rolls… they look super delicious!

Ran across it watching YouTube, so I snipped the recipe. Usually on a maiden voyage, I follow recipe to exact. I only omitted the sesame seeds, and vinegar. (Didn't have any.)
The SECRET I assume is the baking powder. I know its kind of a Click Bait used on YouTube. Baking powder does fine without the added vinegar.

Kazakhstan Baursak

Recipe courtesy of the exchange student from Kazakhstan.

Ingredients:

1 egg
250ml warm milk
250 ml warm water
3 tbsp oil
1 tbsp yeast
4 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
910g flour
Oil for frying

Directions:

Combine all ingredients and mix into a dough.

Let rise for 1 hour

Punch down dough and roll to about 1/8” thick

Cut dough into circles or squares

Preheat oil to 350F

Drop spheres and/or squares in hot oil and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown, flipping as needed to brown both sides.

Serve hot and enjoy with toppings of your choice.

Note: They should be full of air, that’s normal. When you drop it in the oil, you should see it rise.

Do you do anything fun when you make yours? I make the crust from a mix so I doctor it up with basil and oregano. I keep meaning to put down some cornmeal like the restaurants make it.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. This is a great place to explore and hang out.
I use a layer of vegetable grease on the pan never had one stick
