Out of the biopsy. The numbing agent felt like 1/2 a bee sting. They successfully got the samples. Results in 3 days.

Praying for good results.

I also had a fine needle biopsy of my thyroid, I am not sure they even numbed anything, and I really didn’t feel a thing, after that they removed half of my thyroid ( were supposed to remove all of it) in hindsight I am glad they left part of it, cos a friend of mine had a total removal and it took them weeks to balance her calcium and hormone levels

When they Nuked mine had a bad crash allot faster than they thought.

No offense, but this is making my anxiety about the results worse. I have been battling anxiety for a full 24 hours now, just worried about what the results could be and what may need to be done.

No results yet, obviously.

It depends on what the results are, I had non hormone active knots, in hindsight, I should have just let them be, they can turn malignant, but usually aren’t….if they are hormonal active, you might need surgery
Operations make doctors richer, so usually, they say get surgery , of course there are also a lot of honest doctors out there….my rest thyroid has been going on the last 13 years, and nothing has turned cancerous, I think back then the doctor made me so nervous I agreed to surgery …
