Good afternoon Bakers. Hope everyone had a good day. I've been so busy I haven't had time to cook a meal, much less bake anything! Hope to spend time in the kitchen tomorrow.

Wow, Jared, that thing is huge! I guess I'd treat it like a butternut squash. I bet the seeds would be great toasted like pumpkin seeds.

Thank you, it was hubby brought back what I thought was a piece of apple cheesecake

You should have seen my expression when I found out it was another kind of onion „cake“

That reminds me of when I was at my flute teacher's house for a flute lesson. He got out a pitcher of what I thought was apple cider from the fridge, offered me a glass. I discovered it was iced tea when I took a sip. We both thought that was pretty funny.

I. baked a savory onion „cake“ today with yeast dough, hubby went to a church gathering and since he had his birthday in October, he wanted to bring some food, so I baked the savory onion xxl quiche…forgot to take a picture, if hubby brings back some leftovers, I will take a picture

I want to add caraway seeds to my rye bread. None of the local stores carry it. Any recommendations for an online source? There's so much junk available, I'd prefer buying from a place that people have used and would recommend.
