Any Home Bakers Here?

So, caught a bad cold from my younger son, and put out my back yesterday while bending over 😩 so yesterday I didn’t feel like roasting a whole goose, luckily I bought another goose breast the day before yesterday, so, cut off the breast and thighs off the goose and added the 2. breast, looking good

Boiling the leftover geese bones to make a soup/sauce base, you have to remove the fat before using, I store it in the freezer when done, goose is very fat, so I don’t think it is as healthy as chicken broth 🫣 but it tastes great, especially with potato dumplings and fried red cabbage ( in goose fat) not a diet food 🤪

Fat isn't as unhealthy as we were all taught for many years.

I like cabbage fried in bacon grease.
