Here a really fun story about frog legs ;
You've heard the story of the Princess who kisses a frog. There is a more feminist version of that. When the frog turns into a handsome Prince, he thanks her, and tells her that she will move into his castle, make love to him, take care of his children, and keep the place clean. That night, the Princess had an elegant dinner, consisting of frog's legs.

Seriously... what do frog legs taste like? How do you eat them? Is the meat taken off the bone first, or do you pick them up and eat them like a chicken wing? Do you eat the skin?

I just ate them like chicken wings. I don’t know how to properly eat them.

I’m pretty sure the skin was off when I bought them.

As for the taste, it’s pretty easy to describe. Think the texture of fish with the taste of chicken.

Yes, you read that right.

I actually enjoyed them quite a bit, so did my entire family.

That sounds like a pretty good deal to me! When you're a princess you have staff to do the cleaning.

I did not see Goose for sale here so access may be a resason
It is available here in high end stores but is horrifically expensive! I’ve never tasted goose, but I’m not willing to spend $120 to try it ! Last time I looked even ducks were around $75!

I put a lot of work into this dish, and I feel like you guys are laughing at me for it.

I won’t talk right now. I need to step back and take a breather.
You did put a lot of work into this! You are the bravest cook I know! It turned out beautifully, the ingredients are unfamiliar to most of us. I’m very sorry your feelings got hurt. Everyone here respects you a lot! :hugs

Waterfowl prices are ridiculous but have you checked what they want for ducklings and goslings?
