This was the first recipe I used. It was good, if a bit sweeter than I was looking for. Kind of like a toasted marshmellow, slightly crisp on the outside, and soft inside. I may try it again and put it in the loaf pan. I tried to mess with the second version too much and deflated it so much, it made a loaf omelette. Fluffy on top with a dense eggy base. I tried to swap out cream of tarter for sugar to omit the sugar while still giving structure. Did not work!

I baked for years...and September 16 ABOUT 10 years ago... I received sourdough starter from Ron (on this thread) and now I bake only Sourdough. We all like it best....and it helps digestion. PERFECT.Looks delicious. I've not gotten into baking sourdough yet. My mom does though.
