Any Hope? Chicken Out Overnight

i lost Masie last night, neighbors dog chased her and despite calling for two and half hours she didn't come home. i even slept outside the coop door hoping she'd come back.

has anyone had a chicken come home after a night out?

Many times. I have willful chickens who sometimes decide to sleep in the trees. I search and search with my flashlight but often I can't find them. Usually, they are in the yard in the morning when I go out to open the coop.

I have a chicken who spent the winter in an open barn. We have foxes, raccoons and many other pests. If she was up in a tree she should be om.
